- Post secondary training in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience
- 1 – 4 years experience in testing with expertise developed through substantial hands-on experience in moderately complex testing tasks
- Well-developed team work and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to operate independently and work effectively with test manager, developers and project teams
- Good understanding of systematic test approach and an agile, iterative approach to software development lifecycle
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and able to adapt a flexible, quality-focused approach to work
- -Highly developed English communication skills - both verbal and written
-High levels of logical, abstract, creative and innovative thinking
-Ability to be “PRO”active in thinking, planning and finding defects (as opposed to “RE”active) |

|
The VNetSoftware Test Analyst participates in the various stages of the software development life cycle to ensure timely delivery of state of the art software and system solutions for VNetSoftware’s customers. Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Creating detailed test plans & test cases in line with systematic test standards and testing techniques
- Executing tests, recording test results & reporting test status for multiple projects
- Ability to write detailed bug reports, including steps to recreate and include detailed relative criteria
- Effective coordination and communication with multiple project and development teams to ensure exceptional quality software is produced and delivered to VNetSoftware’s clients on time with project schedules
- Coordinating with multiple project teams and management to ensure all software activities are following VNetSoftware’s documented processes
The Test Analyst will review, analyze and comprehend business requirements and design specifications written by VNetSoftware Business Analysts and will use this information to design, author, manage and execute test plans and test cases for moderately complex projects. The Test Analyst will assist the Senior Test Analyst and Test Manager on large, complex projects.
1-4 years relevant professional experience or equivalent education is required. |
